AXM has joined the Creative Commons Open Culture Platform, a global initiative that brings together organizations working to promote open access, shared knowledge, and equitable participation in the digital commons.
Creative Commons is a global nonprofit organization that enables sharing and reuse of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. The Open Culture Platform extends this mission by connecting organizations whose work supports open, accessible, and rights-respecting approaches to cultural and creative content in digital systems.
AXM's participation in the Open Culture Platform reflects the organization's commitment to building infrastructure that supports both open and licensed uses of creative works. While AXM's machine authorization infrastructure is designed to manage the full spectrum of consent — from fully open access to restricted, conditional, or compensated use — the underlying principle is the same: creators and institutions should have clear, practical tools to express their intent and have that intent respected by the systems that access their works.
